Villa Miseria is the first novel published by filmmaker, Sergio Giral. Tells the story of an old house in a Havana neighborhood were homeless filmmakers and bohemian artist lived during the 60's and 70's. It's a metaphor of the fall and decay of a whole nation under Fidel Castro's dictatorship. 

Some of this characters live to tell the tale, others died and some others luckily escape before the final collapse, but the house structure and foundations survive against all odds, defying any forecast.
